I bought a set of these for my Olds, check out my pics. They are o.k. They are upholstered in ultraleather, a man made leather type material. I ordered the universal seat bracket set, advertised in Summit, but I ended up sending the brackets back. They seemed to flimsey. I ended up making my own brackets to mount the seats. Measurements: Seat Bottom @ 22" across measured at seat bolster to bolster. Back @ 21" across side bolster to bolster. Height @ 34/35". As you tip the seat foward it grows to @ 39" as it tilts foward. The seats are rather firm, yet they are cushioned, probably with a dense foam. The only thing I don't really like are the seat back bolsters. They stick out about 41/2" and get in the way a bit when I get in and out of the car. Other than that they are aok. The frame seems firm and well built. I don't feel and flex or give in the structure as I move around in the seat. I believe they are a good value for the price, but they're not Recaros!

I SERIOUSLY doubt the seats are covered in UltraLeather. its probably just a generic soft vinyl. The cost of UltraLeather to cover one seat at manufacturers pricing would be about 80-100 dollars. I dont think they could profit selling a seat if the material alone is more than 50% of the selling price.

I was thinking the same thing for the Willys. My car goes to upholstry in 3 - 4 weeks now. I have Mustang seats that they were going to recover with ultraleather, or Illusions vinyl which is soft and slick (smooth). I like the look of the seat from summit, and have looked other places for the same thing and they really seem to all look alike and be priced similarly.

seats

Summitt also sells Scat brand seats- check out the Scat website, many different styles to choose from. I bought a set of low backs in grey velour several years ago- they were very nice! Bill

I put a set in my Chevelle from http://www.bodykitsandwings.com/webs...ml?id=3UvXPmA8 I would review them about the same as 73oldsman. They are more comfortable & supportive than stock, and they came with adjusters, universal mounts, and free shipping. I give 'em a thumbs up!

Hmmm...I thought it was , but I can't find my paperwork on the seats now, of course. Anyways, it's a pretty nice simulated leather vinyl product then.

Hey, those look pretty nice also. I just don't want that flarey (I made that word up) interior that everyone is using now in street rods. I want it to stay simple and sporty, not cushy. How does the stitching look, thats my only worry...

The stitching on the seats are french seams and look pretty good. There are no raised welts to wear on the the seats.
