Summit Cams 1185-1103 Whos Used Them?
having spent to much time scouring summits site trying to find a cam suitable for my 357 build using flat top pistons & now 64cc heads with a compression ratio of 9.8.1 Ive whittled it down to 2 possible cams.
Hydraulic flat tappet
Basic Operating RPM Range 1,800-5,200

Lopey-rough idle, excellent midrange power in street vehicles. Likes 9:1 and higher compression, largest camshaft that will work with stock stall.

Camshaft Manufacturers Description Fair idle, low midrange torque/horsepower, works well in 327 and higher c.i.d. engines. Largest camshaft with stock converter.
so which would people recommend to work best in a street vehicle with this compression? I don't mind a lumpy idle as long as id doesn't stall & bog cruising away from the lights.
all out power isn't the aim hear but its always welcome
motor will be in a light car "ford pop"
need to get this on order asap so input needed.
I got the 1103 in my 283 with a stick in my roadster and I'm not really happy with it going to go much bigger for my next one. It has a slight loop at idle but behaves nice all around.
