Summit Drag Racing Shocks

are these shocks any good? they are only $26.95. they are adjustable to dial in the damping ratio you want. it can be set at 60/40, 80/20 or 90/10 ratio and includes mounting hardware. seems like a pretty good deal, what do u guys think?

thanks

Personally I no longer do business with Summit. They plagiarized a patented invention a friend of mine came up with a number of years ago, claimed it was theirs in their catalog. They only pulled it from their catalog under the threat of a patent lawsuit. No telling how many they sold before that.

It is a stamped sheet metal retainer for the oil pickup tube on a small block Chevy. It prevents the oil pickup tube from vibrating out of the pump body. I negates having to weld the pickup tube on, or pinning it. Jegs is the authorized distributor for it, page 50 of their latest catalog. The inventors name is Bruce Chenault, an old high school friend of mine, and fellow hotrodder.

Here it is http://www.jegs.com//cgi-bin/ncommer...68&prmenbr=361

So how are they?

I saw them the other day and am kinda interested. I like the adjustments. I'd like to run 90/10 in the front and 50/50 in the rear. Did you get them? How do they launch?
