I am interested in using summit racing single stage pure white on a project. I will be first painting a dash around a roll cage. Anyone know how it cuts and buffs if I make boo boo?

if it says Acrylic Urethane on the can, then yes it will buff out just fine. wait 24 hours to be safe. I used their black SS

Yep. I used their epoxy primer, 2k surfacer and SS. I really like their epoxy, sands easily...but I have nothing to compare it too. Price was right.

I noticed the other day, they are selling tons of autobody supplies now and restoration paints etc. Maybe its been like that for awhile and I just didnt know about it.

I did an MG with the Summit Urethane last spring. White, red and black. It cut and buffed just fine. I held off for a month to do it but 24 hrs is fine.

I also used summit's epoxy/2k/single stage on my wife's 914 a year ago. Cut and buffed with no problems. Turned out great.

that looks awesome! Can you spray the summit ss in a home garage and use the cut/buff process to get it looking right vs. using a spray booth?

Thanks. Sure can. But that really applies to any SSAU or bc/cc paint you want to use. Trash in the paint was not an issue at all, was able to cut n buff 99% of it away.
