Just thought I'd throw these out there, straight from the tech rep. at Summit. I'm actually pretty impressed- I bought a set of these Yesterday. Once I get them I'll take some pictures.

I wonder what their SUM-162109 heads flow, i just poped a set of those lil heads in my daily driver... i was fairly impressed with them. could use a bit more deburing but other that that they looked alright... runners looked smoother than some Dart heads i have seen...

I heard the Summit sbc heads are made for them by Dart and are virtually identical to their Dart counterparts (Iron Eagles or Pro1). Seems like they should be more expensive since there are more letters in the "Summit" logo than the "Dart" logo.

the few seconds more it takes to put a few more letters on a head would easily be outweighed by other factors like the hardware used and number made/sold at once...

either way I thought the casting was nice...

Theres a little more to it than just a good price have friend that works there dart does make them brodix builds jegs and the the summit peices are cheaper because the use cheaper parts in them valves etc personally worth acouple more bucks for an awesome set of Canfields or go with the Pro ones

Might want to check up on your sources; according to two different Summit techs these heads are casted by Brodix. Flow numbers are identical to that of the IK 200.

i agree, the Summit 200cc aluminum head is virtually identical to a Brodix IK200. It looks nothing like a Dart head.

The other entry level Summit heads appear to be Dart and World Products designed castings.

According to Summit, these 170cc port heads flow 240cfm @.500" A good head.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say thee are a rebranding of brodix's 170cc aluminum SB "street head".
Can you post a picture of the exhaust port flange of the heads you have?
