Sun Super Tach II 7901

Awww,
I just can't seem to find the pin out for the Sun Super tach II, 7901. Any articles I read assume there is a wiring harness coming out of the back of the tach. In my case, there is none. Sooo, I need to find out what the pins are on the tach in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Email me at Ezpilot@xmission.com.
Thanks,
D

If its the one I am familiar with there is 4 wires . . .

1.Red ~Positive

2.Black ~Ground

3.Green~ to tach

4.White ~Light Illumination

Does this help?

Thanks Rob,
But, not really. I am familiar with the wire colors...I just don't know which post to put them on in the tach. There are 4 posts...one at 12 o'clock, 3, 6 and 9 looking through the hole in the back. I don't want to put the hot wire on the wrong post. Every document I have looked at tells me where to connect them to the engine and ground and fuse box. But, the instructions don't tell me which pin (post) inside the tach to connect the wires to. Can you tell me which post (pin) to connect the red, green, black and white to?
Thanks,
D

I have a sun super tach II in my truck , but my pins aren't at 12,3,6 and 9
they're @ 2 , 5 , 8 and 11.... there is a twist out plug for a light at the very top ( 12:00 ) , but my wires attach kinda offset from that. on mine if you started at 12 and went clockwise , you'd encounter them in this order : Green , Red , White , Black.
I don't know if this helps or not......

Sun Super Tach II

Thanks 79C,
But, what I am looking for is the wiring attachment to the tach. Which wire to which post. In other words, for example, green to top post, red to right post, black to bottom post...etc. (I know these assignments to post are not correct, I am looking for the correct sequence.)
But, thanks again,
D

Gosh 79C,
I think you answered my question. So, the sequence you sent me IS the placement on the pins? Right? Duh, sometimes I don't know if spending all that time in college helped...I do have the degrees, but like my professor said...I don't listen. Sorry.
