sun super tach2 mdl7901

4 wires at back of tach which one does what? there in a north south east west positions, this is a old tach and the wires have all be replaced with black. also can this tach be hooked up to a flame thrower 2 coil? Thanks, harbor rat

Last place I read said the wiring diagram is inside the tach cup??

You might find the original wire colors at the point where the wires were spliced.

Typical tach wiring layout:

Black = ground
Red = 12VDC switched
Green = coil "-" terminal, will be the same terminal as the wire going to distributor
White = lamp

It will work w/the Flame Thrower 2 coil. If you are using an ignition amplifier, follow their instructions.
