super charged engines

Hey guys, I was told by Big Al's toy box that builds blower engines to use 20/50 w oil in the engine. Not 15/30 oil. What do you guy's think ? Thanks deno---

Blown since 1987

It Depends on the internal clearences of the engine ,I use 10W30 Racing oil in the Fall and spring and 15w-40, up to 25w-50 in the heat of summer ( or when I am racing , looser internal clearences need a high viscosity , tighter needs lower , along with the needs based on usage and temps the motor is run in( outside temps ) its not a use this with no regards to usage statement
