We had a set on the flowbench back in the fall. OUr results on a computer controlled Superflow bench were as follows.
At lifts .400 and under the were very poor, relative to a top of the line head like an E-Tec or AFR. Way better off with an iron Vortec if running a camshaft with .500 lift or less,Vortecs flow better. Above .550 they flowed like an E-Tec or AFR. Topped out at about 258 if I remember. This was a 200cc runner.
Moral of the story, they need chamber and bowl work to....well work across the board. You'd need quite a high lobe lift with a very fast ramp/rocker to get the valve high enough, fast enough to make some reasonable power relative to the top heads. If any head screamed for a 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8 rocker this is it.
