super t10h gear ratio change

i have a borg warner super t10 h
The tag on box has hek ao 1
The casting on main box has t10h 1wg div w 1b 23
The casting on tailshaft has t10h 7b wg div a
It has a 27 spline output shaft
The problem i have is that it is to tall in 1st 2nd and 3rd
What gears do i need to lower the whole set up

According to my boss, you have 2 choices in the ford for 1st gear. Your current 2.78 1st and a 2.32(?) 1st. 2.32 would require an axle something like a 3.73 or higher (preferably a 4.11)

One cure for too tall (high) first through third gear is a shorter (lower) rear gear. But obviously that carries on to high gear. If a different trans isn't possible, you might look into a Gear Vendors OD/UD unit. They ain't cheap.
