superbell i beam drop axel shock turning
have a 1934 ford with a superbell i beam drop axel . seems the shock is turning and hitting the axel when i hit a bump in the road . is lower shock mount defective , nut seems to be tight , nut is actually ressesed up into the lower shock mount . is there a special socket , regular socket doesn't fit . has this happened to anybody ? any help much appreciated !

Have you check the shock bushings ?

Are your perch bolts and shock mount slotted for a keyway. Like these.
