Supercharged 454 fuel line size?

I have been entertaining the idea of putting a 177 weiand supercharger on my mild 454. I am curious if i can use the stock fuel tank and if 3/8 fuel line would be adequate. This will be 90% street with 10% track time and will be shifted no higher than 5,500rpm. I estimate the motor will make approx 525hp at the flywheel. Thanks in advance:)

When the fuel pump has to pull fuel like a stock pump does it tends to lower the delivery rate, it is much easier to push fuel than it is to pull it. Since you line size is on the small side you need to try to increase the amount it can deliver, and that means putting the fuel under pressure from the rear. Mechanical pumps also give a pulsed fuel flow rather than a steady flow, and are more susceptible to vapor lock because they are pulling a vacuum on the fuel line and are mounted to a hot block surface.
