Supercharger for Caddi 500
hello, im looking for a supercharger for a 500 cubic inch caddi engine, i have heard rumors that no one makes such a thing, but on a similar topic, i have also heard of people using performance ford 460 intakes and using spacers to adapt them to the 500 and the theory is sound that if you use a supercharger from a ford 460 and using the same spacers to hook it to the engine, it should work. if anyone has done this please tell me, and if anyone knows of a superharger for the 500 i would appreciate it if you informed me of it, thank you and have a nice day.

500cid.com makes an adapter plate to fit a ford big block intake manifold to the caddy 500, I image that plate could be used to put a blower for a big block ford on the caddy.

No offense man cause im only 2 years older but at 16 how are you gonna afford a super charger? also i wouldn't reccomend this to as the vehicle you learn to drive on if you dont have your license yet. Good luck with the project

oldschoolrods: i greatly appreciate criticism but i am just doing a price comparison to find the cheapest way to gain more horsepower so i can blow the doors off of these rice burners, and by the way i do have my liscence and ive had it for 4 months.

SOmething about a guy with only 4 months of driving experience under his belt driving a supercharged, 500 cid, 450+hp car around scares the ***** out of me...

If you are looking for a CHEAP upgrade, that BDS set up probably isn't for you. Last I heard, price was around $6600........ You supply a motor........The big Cad responds well to simple bolt on mods like an Edelbrock intake, mild cam, and headers.
