Which supplied air system to get?

Hey guys,

I have decided to get a supplied air system. I may or may not actually spray iso's at home but will be stripping the body and hopefully doing my own blocking. I feel doing those things alone justifies the cost for my safety. I am also going to be replacing the 40+ year old fiberglass insulation in my basement soon so I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the fresh air for that.

I have read all the posts I could find and know that a couple of guys speak highly about the SAS systems. I was looking at the Hobbyair II mainly because of the price difference. I was hoping on some opnions from you guys that actually have used or own any of these systems. Any good or bad experiences you have had will help me out a lot. Also I am still undecided about whether to get a full face mask or the hood. I think I am leaning towards the hood but welcome all thoughts about the pros and cons of both.

Thanks for your thoughts!

George

Check ebay for supplied air respirators, there's a unit on there that's less expensive than the Hobby Air unit and will supply 6 CFM which is what you will need for a hood. I think 4 CFM is needed for a full face mask.
