This stuff is soft, like polyurethane foam you'd use in seat cushions. You could not make door panels with it. PVC foamboard is not expensive, you could easily make 4 door panels with a 4'by 8' sheet at about $7.50 a door panel. That's half of what waterproof panel cardboard sells for.
