Sure its been asked before, 67-69 Camaro DIN radio Bezel

So I have been searching the net and this place. Haven't seen an aftermarket bezel to install a DIN radio in a 67 camaro dash. I know people don't like to cut there dashes. Mine was already hacked in a bad way when I got it. I would like to get something that looks good. I have seen on pics that there is an aftermarket looking kit but haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Anyone got any ideas? I love the sound of good music along with the sound of flowmasters. I hate the knob type stereos, I think they are ugly as sin. My car is far from stock, I am all for keeping a car stock if it is all original.

Thanks for the help

We have a store called Car toys here that may have what you are looking for. Not that I am an expert at that sort of thing but that is where I would go to get what you are looking for..Perhaps there is a similar type store where you are..

Whatever you do, do not butcher the dash to fit an aftermarket radio in. It would be a sin do do that to a 69 Camaro dash. I would rather see the aftermarket radio suspended from the bottom of the dash.

I have had to repair a butchered dash in a 69 Camaro and it is not fun.

I know there are enthusiasts out there that want the stock look, but there are just as many that want a good sounding stereo in the car also.

There are new radios that are built to look like the original Delco units.

So hate to bring up an old thread but I had a buddy of mine thats good with metal make one up for me. I am not sure how to get the pics on here though. I figured it would be good if someone in the future was looking for something of what we made.

Mind you I didn't have heater or any controls before hand. I started with a stripped car with the dash all cut up before hand.

I'll try to link a pic somewhere.
