Great '48
Talking Suspension

Hi Guys/Gals,
I am new to this site so let me start by saying I am going to need your help from time to time on my project. My name is Al, and I want to be your pal, it doesen't matter if you're a guy or gal.
A little humor. arr arr

I have a '48 Chevy fleetline that I want to build up. The car is complete, straight and solid it has some surface rust and very little rust through. I want to up grade the car to a driver so I need info. on the suspension system, front and rear. The front suspension on my '48 is a bolt in, therefore it will come out as a unit. If any of you know if Chevrolet has a late model bolt in please let me know. I want disk brakes and power steering. I want to be able to go to a salvage yard and select one that I can build. I also need to know about the rear.... suggestions are welcome. I plan to install a 350 with a powerglide or ??? I haven't decided about the final drive because that depends on what tranny I use. Thanks I hope we have a long and happy relationship. Al
