Question suspension for a model

i need help on making shocks for model, how would i do it, its a 39 ford sedan delivery. HELP ME PLEASE!

this might be kind of difficult to do depending on the scale of your models. The only thing i can think of is if you used some rivets and cut the pin to whatever length. The rivet kind of looks like a shock the way the pin goes inside the rivet. Might be hard to assemble it properly though. Hope this helps.
