Suspension for my model a

Hi, I'm new here and would like to know if the front end kit I am planning to buy from Speedway Motors will bolt in to my stock 1930 Model A frame without modifications ? The kit consists of I beam axle, spring and 4 bar setup. Also is 6 inch drop ok as I am going to run fenders ?

my understanding is that the I beam suspension is a direct bolt up. As for the fenders on a 6" drop it is not going to bolt right up. You'll need to fabricate some new fender hangers. Mock up the fenders and then take some measurements. You can make them out of some flat stock or bar stock, but really isnt that difficult to do. We did a 4" drop on our 32 and fabricated the fender hangers and mounted the fenders in roughly 4 hours. So, dont be intimidated by the thought of it...just get in there and do it. If you have moderate skills its a cake walk. LOL. Look forward to seeing the finished product!
