Post suspension swap for 1 ton dually

Does anyone know , or have any of you changed out a 4 wheel drive to a two wheel drive in a 1 ton dually 1973 model? Can it be done with bolt in parts? Thanks

Cool

Yes it's possible and practical. Take the 2wd crossmember out from spindle to spindle and motor mounts, use the motor mounts to line up the crossmember in the 4wd frame, if I remember right you'll have to drill 6 holes (3 per side) and swap in the 2wd steering box.
