suspention beefing???

I am getting ready to drop of a 383 stroker into a 92 chevy S10 pu, Do I need to putt in big block springs to support the wieght?? And how hard will it be to replace the TBI (throttle body injection) with a carb and HEI distributer?

If memory serves me right and your s10 had a 4.3, the springs will be fine. They just sag an inch from stock ride hight. As far as the switch to a carb and HEI, its simple and straight forward. HEI is pretty easy since your truck is all ready HEI, I think your truck is to old to be computer controlled(the distributer). Post this question on the engine board and im sure you can get some more answers.
