You COULD integrate them, but it's easier to locate all of your tpi powers and grounds, and install the whole thing. MAKE SURE you fuse your power supplys.

If you are switching the car to a multiport system from throttle body I think you have to change the whole harness for the engine controls and the ECM that goes with it. You would not be able to just change the engine harness under the hood by itself.

i think what im going to do is leave the stock tbi harness in the car and repin the wires that go into the computer to match the pinout of the 89 harness and tie in 6 extra injector plugs into the tbi harness and put the wiring for the maf and the maf burnoff relay anyone have any experience doing this?

If you were to run wires from the (multiport EFI) ECM inside to the firewall connector for the multiport system, then you could use the engine compartment harness from the donor car without a problem. I would check the firewall connector to make sure it is compatible first. I am guessing it is. If you could get the ECM and firewall connector pin diagrams and the wiring diagrams for each system it would be of great help to you in determining where each pin is supposed to be located in relation to the engine harness. This would save you half the work of wiring under the hood also.

Check with Street and Performance and or Painless wiring, they may have a kit to do this particular swap.
