swapping a 5 speed into a 6 speed

I am thinking about buying a 93 GMC 1/2 ton pickup and it has a 5 speed and the synchronizer is going out in it. I was wondering if I could take a 6 speed from a newer camaro and bolt it right in? If it possible to do, would i need anything else to make it work? thanks in advance for any help
