Swapping heads sbc

Alright guys, first this a 350 30 over motor with an xe268 cam aluminum intake and a 650 edelbrock. problems with my double humps is causing me to have to put a set of stock 882 heads. The double humps were 2.02 valves and also shaved to 60 cc. I was running the .015 head gasket to raise compression a little more. Now the 882 is bare stock. not sure what the chamber size is, they came off of somewhere around a 80 model truck. Just wondering what performance changes i will see, and if there's anything i can do to help before i put these on the motor. thanks guys

Use the search function on this forum regarding these heads. You will find mostly negative comments.

Cliff Ruggles said do not run 882 heads . He recommended 993, 336, 441, or 487 using a Felpro .035 gasket when I talked to him . He has been racing and building engines for 30 plus years .

I understand they aren't the right choice when you have the option but i don't have the money to buy new heads at this time, and no one can seem to tell me how to fix the double humps i have. I just want to know how to make the best of what i have for now until i can buy new heads.

the 441s would be great because i already have them but one of the rockers is trying to turn sideways for some reason. I guess when i pull them off i could take them to the machine shop and see whats wrong, i just hate to really dump a lot of money in these heads. if its not a really simple fix i'd rather slap the 882s on for now and save up for some dart heads
