swapping rear ends, brake question.....

I picked up a 12 bolt rear with 4.10 and a posi today that I will be installing into my 69 El camino.

The rear end I bought has no brake equipment, it just has the backing plates and emergency brake cables hooked up.

So, my question is this, how hard is it to swap all of the brake components over to the 12 bolt off of my 10 bolt that I have now??? Any tips, how will I keep air out of the brake lines??? By the way, I run power discs in the front and drums in the rear of the car.

Put them on in reverse of taking them off.
You will get air any time you take something loose, just bolt it up and then bleed the system. Good Luck.

The only way you might avoid air in the lines is to first remove the rear cover, then pull the axles, then unbolt the backing plates, then drop out the bare housing then re-assemble in reverse order.
