I would appreciate any help on finding out which sway bar will fit on the rear of my 1970 impala. There is not much info on the net. what would be a good donor
vehicle to swap one out of.

I would look to the same body style station wagons as your Impala for sway bars. Chevy, Pontiac, Olds, etc. The suspensions are the same and they usually had some good sized bars. Get new hardware and they will bolt right up.
You could use the front bars also and keep in mind the brakes were generally bigger on these cars so upgrading to bigger drums in the back would be a piece of cake.
