Sway Bar Installation...do it.

I have an early camaro clip in my F-1. It rides well but had more body roll in turns than would be the case of the camaro because my truck has more weight up higher.

I went to the U-Pull It and measured a couple of narrow sway bars and bought them, not knowing exactly how I would use them. I finally welded some brackets to my camaro A arms and drilled them to accept the adjustable drop bolts to mount a Bronco II sway bar and mounted the bar to the frame. Result: the truck drives and rides like a sports car now. It really improved the whole ride and handling situation a great deal and all for the price of $17!

Thats great! I got a sway bar from the ifs kit for my chevy truck and I have absolutely no clue how to install it! I know where it goes and how it should but it does not want to mount to these swivel thingies that they gave me for it?

Hey Slider in WA, if you are using the front suspension from a 1977 Camaro, I would suggest getting a sway bar from a late 70's Trans Am or Firebird Formula. This bar should be 1 1/4" diameter and will really help the handling. It'll bolt up with out any mods
