swirlmarks

how can i get the swirl marks off the clear lenses on my gauges?
It just seems to be 30 years of cleaning.is there a polish i can get to remove these? any help would be great

If you can get your hands on some aircraft canopy polish that will do it. Go to your local airport and ask the fixed base operator if he has any.

You should be able to use the same polish that is used for the back window in convertible tops.

Eastwood

I just received my new Eastwood catalog and it has just what you are looking for. They GUARANTY the product. They seem to have expanded the list of items they carry, so I am going to but it in the library. They are online also.

if you have good access to the gauges try this. toothpaste, the regular kind not the gel. i read this in a car modelling magazine for cleaning up the plastic windshields and so i tried it. it's excellent but it does require some effort. just take your time. i have polishes that i use for my paint jobs but i like this method. it's cheap, is in the house already and it smells nice too.
