Switch to double pumper-wont idle

Hi I recently had a 670 street avenger on my 350 sbc it ran ok idled perfect but seemed short in fuel so i did some jetting and it got better, i was at an auction sale and pick up a nice 4777-2 holley 650 double pumper for 90 bucks so i wanted to give it a shot. I got it on now it runs pretty good with 68 front and 76 rear jets but i cant get the thing to idle down. Its acting just like a vacuum leak but i cant find one. It'll run ok with my hand mostly covering the choke so it needs more fuel or less air/ also when looking down the carb its pouring fuel out the main metering system. I already backed the secondaries off and i also removed the manual choke it had. I dont know were else to look any help i greatly apreciated.

What kind of RPM will it run at? Are the floats set to high I would check that first if it is pooring fuel through the boosters at idle. I would pull the mixture screws and run carb cleaner through them and the air bleeds to make sure they are clear and set the mixture screws to 2-2.5 turns from closed to start.

Hope this helps, Mike
