Switch removal from dash
I am preping the interior of a 65 Mustang for paint and modifications. I am having problems removing the ignition switch. I removed the wires with no problem. However, I cannot determine how the ingition switch itself comes off the dash. I appears to be spring loaded, but, I am not sure if it unscrews of is clipped to the dash.
 Any help? Thanks

66 ignition switch
clips... on my stang at least, they are clips, take into note that in order to remove the ignition switch you must first put the key in then turn it to acc and then push a paperclip into that tiny hole... then it should just wiggle out (make sure to do lots of wiggling.. some old cars need a little tap)
i dont know if that is what your looking for... but i'm 89% sure it should help -shawn
