Hello, i have a 1988 Chevy 2500, 4x4 extended cab,long bed with a 350 tbi, and a 700 r tranny, Question, can i take a 454 out of a 90 3500, chevy 4x4 extended cab long bed and put it in my 88 2500. will i have to change the compute,if so, will the compute out of the 90 hook up to the 88 system. will the 700r mate to the block. Will the fule pump have enough pressure for the BB tbi, will i need to trade the radiator. Would there be any other modifications i would have to do?? Thank you for your time....

Question 1= Yes.
2= yes
3= yes, with minor mods.
4= yes.
5= yes, if both are TBI
6= yes.
7= I have done similar swaps,. There are always minor production differences and hookups. Exhaust, linkages, wiring etc. If you had both chassis the swap is easier.

Thank you for the info, i though you could, my main concern was the computers still working in different systems and the TBI set up. Many years ago in the early 80's. i use to swap motors around too, but it was different then, thank you for your help
