T-350 Fluid capacity
 

I just dropped the pan to install a new gasket. After replacing the pan i put one quart in it and it is showing full on the dipstick. Im guessing I have the wrong dipstick? Should I just throw 4 quarts in it and be done? This has the stock pan on it. Thanks!

you ought to get to the bottom of the dipstick problem.

i guess you mean Chevy turbo hydromatic 350?

i'd fix the dipstick situation first.

How much did you drain out?
Put the same back in.

Start the engine.
Move the shifter through all the ranges (R, N, D, 2nd. L, etc.), then back to Park.
Remove dipstick, wipe clean.
Reinstall it then immediately remove and w/wet end held downward, read the level on the stick.

The fluid will rise slightly when fully hot if you are reading it cold.
