After Engine shutoff the Fluid drains out of the TC/TorqueConverter back into the Pan. This raises the Fluid level above the normal operating level which is Pan/Case mounting surface. Fluid can then leak at most any bad Seal, Dipstick tube, Detent cable, Shift Shaft, Speedo Housing, Front/Rear.
