T-350 not shifting into second gear
hey im having problems with my th350 automatic transmission which is not shifting into 2nd gear. i had just recently dropped the pan and reconnected the s-link going to he linkage and forgot to clean the inside of the pan so i think it could be gummed up. ive also had a bad vacuam problem which causes me to be driving double-footed most of the time. i didnt know if this wouldve adversely affected the transmission, let me know if you have any solutions.

Check your modulator valve and lines. That may also be your source of the vacumn problem.

Yes, the vacuum modulator is mounted on the transmission and has a rubber line going to it . This is what helps your transmission shift gears. If the modulator or line has a vacuum leak, your transmission won't shift gears. Hope this helps, Bill.
