My problem is that i cannot find a shifter cable bracket for my Turbo 350, so I am now making one. My question is that does anyone know what the distance should be between the gearbox selector hole and the cable selector hole as to get the right bracket length?

What I've always done is place the select lever to park on the tranny, then place shifter to park as well. You can then place the cable where it's gonna ride (just below the pan lip) and take a measurement. This will get you in the ballpark, you can fine adjust it with the adjustment nuts. If you don't have adjustment nuts on your cable, you can still tweak the bracket a little to get it where you want it.
