Problem.....

Problem!! When i was installing my shift kit, I lost the clip that goes from the kick down cable the lever on the valve body. Does anyone know where I could get that part, I live in MA, or what would be good to use to make that. I would imagine a piece of wire, but if there a certain gage that I should use?

Thanks once again.

It is spring steel.
With the amount of movement a softer material would wear out quicker.
I have never tried anything different but a coat hanger would be about the same gauge.

Any tranny shop in your area should have a few baskets of TH350 parts laying around. Or the junk yard? Or your neighbor that you don't like? Just don't get caught! LOL

I'll try to hit up a junk yard or tranny shop. If I can find one, I was thinking of using a 19gage wire.

Thanks for ur input. Also, I will try the coat hanger.

If you want to stop by my house, I probably have a dozen out there in my tool box. Anyone in a trans shop would have plenty of them sitting around.
