T-350 transmission assembly problem

hi i just rebuild my thm350 chevy transmission did everything by the book and all inside parts turn freely and fine but when i install the front pump the input shaft will not turn what did i do wrong.

350 trans.problem

Yes when I tighten the pump bolts nothing turns.And how much resistance will will it be on my direct drum before I install the front pump.Thanks

Check for mis installed thrust washers, clutch teeth not fully engaged, wrong end clearance

Many items can cause this problem. It all is related to proper clearance. If something is in wrong place, not set in place correctly will cause a clearance problem.

Was anything changed at the front end? Pump replaced? drums replaced?

Thank for the advice i will go back and recheck all my step's.I hope it's just a clutch teeth that's not fully engaged.i will let you know.
