i got a th 400 with a 203 t case does anyone know what i have to do to change it to a 205 t case

To use a factory GM setup for a 205 t-case, you need the out put shaft for the T-400 that will match the adapter for the 205 t-case

205 t-case has an early & late design bolt up to the back end of the T-400.

Early 205 design uses a short style 2WD out put shaft with matching adapter.

Later 205 design uses a shorter out put shaft than the 2WD shaft, yet it is longer than the 203 output shaft you have now

go to advance adapters they have a kit to do the job for around 700.00 bucks this is the best way to go.
