t-400 with gv vs 4l80e

personally the gear vendors is a stout unit the electronics are worthless though i bought one in 1997 to put in my 67 chevelle later i used it in a all-out drag car with a 540 bbc also used the same gear vendors in my 78chevy 3/4 454 t-400 truck two years ago i put the gearvendors back inmy 67 chevelle with a 496 bbc & t-400 the gear vendors has taken all the abuse i throw at it with no poblems as for the electronics go the simple way it works just fine one hot wire to a toggle switch to the solenoid & ond ground wires works very well my electronics quit after the first year but the unit has gone through 5 engines and 4 t-400 which are cheaper to rebuild than a 4l80e
