T-400 kick down hook up question

how is the kick down controlled on a th400. I know a th350 has a cable but how does the th400 work? Thanks

IIRC, they have an accelerator controlled elec. switch , that drives a solenoid internal to the trans.

kick down

happen to know of any pix or a web site so i can get this thing hooked up and to see what parts i am missing and need to get? basically a "how to" from start to finish Thanks.

I got tired of trying to find ( and buy ) all of the old, worn out stuff to make the 400 Turbo kick down work.
Plus it was bulky. And ugly I did not like the look of the kits.
SO ... I whipped up this little bracket and a J/L switch. Works great.

My photo actually comes up in the second google search above
