T-400: leaks and leaks and more leaks

Got a turbo 400. Bought it new. Its a tci street fighter i believe. But it has leaked from day one. Had the pan off several times. Got it to almost quit. Not near as bad as it was anyway. But the worst leak is where the tailshaft bolts to the main body. 4 bolts there and they are dog tight. Doesnt leak out the end of the tailshaft. What is it going to take to fix it? thanks

Welcome back, you have not posted in a while

The tail shaft housing on a T-400 has 6 bolts. Perhaps 2 are loose?

You might try 2 gaskets and some good adhesive on the tail housing to stop the leaks.

figured out most of my leak is coming from where the speedo cable screws on. its running down and dripping off where the tailshaft bolts on. Does the cable has some sort of o-ring i the plug or something to keep it from leaking there? i need a new one anyway. And the pan is still leaking around it too. And its leaking a little out the rear seal. But the worst is from the speedo cable

Yes, there's an inner Seal and outer O-ring.

was able to tighten the cable some. But its also leaking out of the gear housing. I put it in there but i dont remember if the housing screws in or just slides in and the retaining fork thing keeps it in. Didnt want to try turning it to tighten and mess something up. What do i need to fix this? thanks
