T-400 Reverse problems, slips & then no reverse
Before I get crazy and remove the tranny I was hoping some of you would know the answer.
I have a th400 behind a BBC and the truck sat for a while until recently. Been driving it a bit working out the issues the newest issue is it doesn't like reverse. The truck has a rebuilt th400 with low miles. I checked the fluid at it all looks, smells, and tastes(joke) fine. Works in all 3 drive gears and has engine braking on all three. Reverse recently started to "slip" after startup. Today it wouldn't engage into reverse at all. Any ideas what my issue is here?

if you have good third gear then iwould check the reverse servo seals.
