T-400 Transmission Fix?

I took my perfect running 74 Sprint in for a transmission leak yesterday as it was leaking in driveway, got talked into a soft rebuild. Went to pick it up at 5 pm, closing time for shop, got key and started down road. It runs like it has plug wires off, not smooth at all, was not even sure after 2nd stop lite if it was shifting correctly? Turned around and went right back to shop, last guy there closing up and told him issue and he put back in shop for review in am. Any thoughts why this performance change after a soft th400 rebuild? Thanks.

Th 400 has a vacuum modulator. Check vacuum line to see if it is disconnected or has a crack in it.

Soft rebuild is what SSedan says. We found the issue today. When they took the transmission out, the back of the 454 moveg down a bit and it pushed out 2 wires out of distributor cap just enough and thus the reason it ran crappy. Thanks to those who offered thoughts and ideas.
