T-400 valve body

I have a th400 with a manual valve body that I want to make fully automatic again. I have bought a new modulator and a manual/auto valve body. Is this all I need? Do I have to worry about the electrical connection for down shift?

Prolly not. It may (or not) depend on who's VB is in there now. I had an ATI FMVB in a T400 years ago and when I installed it, there were a few parts no longer needed to function that were to be deleted, as there is no engine braking with a FMVB. I called ATI and asked them if it was necessary to remove these parts and was told no. I went ahead and removed them (bands) as instructed, but whoever installed yours may or may not have. I have no idea what would happen if you tried to revert without the bands and such...
