t-5 conversion on 52 dodge truck
hi im new to the site I just picked up a t5 out of a 90 s10 pickup for my 52 dodge truck with a flathead spitfire motor, looking for details on this converion

you need an adapter, see trans dapt, then you have to build a new crossmember, modify the driveshaft, figure out the clutch

I ordered an adapter kit from stovebolt, im going to reuse the dodge bellhousing and mount the t5 gear box to it. im also using the dodge flywheel, but the splines on the imput shafts are different so I guess I need a different pressure plate? this is where im stumped

I think you will need a dodge pressure plate and an s10 clutch disc. or a dodge clutch disc with a s10 t5 center hub riveted to it, clutch and flywheel shops can make these up special if need be.
