Question T-5 indentification

Anyone know how to tell which T-5's are better than others? What do I want to look for to get a good one?

World class t-5's have a bearing on the drivers side case rather than cap(that retains a bushing)these are the strongest of the t-5's. They came in years 88-92 f-body cars.

t-5s as in the ones they put in 5.0 mustangs??? if thats the ones you're talking about i think you guys are mistaken. these are great trannys and will live for a long time, especially in a 1500lb car. this project car for this magazine a read just rebuilt their mustang t-5 after 140,000 miles of dragstrip abuse. if you say that they came in camaros and firebirds (f-bodies) then i guess im talking about something different.
