t-5 transmission
 

I am looking for a good GM t-5 from an S-10 to mount behind the inline 235 in my '51 Chevy. I need a unit from a 2.8 v-6 truck. Anyone out there have one or any good sources? I live in Ohio

every junkyard thats still open. the 2.8 5 speed was the most common combo ever used in the s10's...... the 4cyl trans has better gear ratios....will make it alot better out of the hole then the v6 trans

I used a 4 cyl T5 trans behind my 283 in a 56 chevy truck. They are not very strong so don't beat on it.:)

non of the t-5's have any gurth to them, if your looking for a hot rod t-5 your going to need to shell out the bread for a tremec
