Brickyardboy always comes through with a mighty version of the contest vehicle choice aptly named "T-REX"...the king of the t-bucket jungle! The artist states he used a mixture of pencil, soft pastel sticks, colored pencils and fine line ink markers to finish a very well and intriguing image to be a part of the voting.

It's not often we get something this wild, a real rendering of a turtledeck T Bucket but designed for the Bonneville Salt Flats. Great color and execution of design makes you know this vehicle could be the next record holder in a/gr. Beautiful color combinations, the glare from the flats and excellent shadowing produce a well rounded image.

My apologies for not being able to edit my thread, Johhny Jalopy wants me to restate that he does in fact use scanned in artwork after being done by hand and using the painting tools to finalize his work. My apologies again for misrepresenting his style of work guys.

Wow, again we have a tie, congrats to both artists and the participants !!.

it will now be up to the guys to share in the choice of vehicles or themes of this months contest. Please post up your thoughts and we'll have another go at it with the Christmas edition coming soon.

great choice Bob, Neal should be on shortly, although I do remember we had said that first to post their work actually wins. Correct me if I'm wrong.
At my age I can't remember what I ate for breakfast ..... I'm OK waiting to hear from Neal if you are .....hopefully, he;ll get here soon. Is the next contest going to be for two months?

Lol, if you guys prefer two months again, it seemed to work out well yet we still can't get the voting and views up as much as we'd like. Like Jon says, it's all in the title. I do believe and went back and checked the first to post does actually win so if it's Woody's, we do Woody's Bob.

Woody's it is, A one month contest for August. Post should be coming soon. I recently found out this morning a good friend of mine was murdered in a home invasion with his wife being able to get away, the invaders shot him in the head and set the house on fire so I am backed up a little with calls. Look for a new post later tonight.

That's terrible news. Murder and arson? My deepest condolences, Mark, and prayers to the family. Hope you're ok. :(
