t400 to 4l80e
Has anyone out there swapped their t400 for the later 4l80e?thinking of using a full manual conversion to alleviate the computer and using an electronic to cable conversion to run the speedo.Can i still use the lockup converter? trans will be behind strong 454 in Fiberglass Trans Am. If someones done this please tell me how they got on .Cheers Frank

fiberglass bodies were very poular here in the 1980,s where we could clone the origonal at a fraction of the cost and end up with a car lighter and potentially faster than the origonal. mine was built between 1983 and 1988 .Many were sold to film company,s for stuntcars,and used in all forms of motor sport we are talking New Zealand .cheers
