Hi,new to site.I have a T5 tranny that I want to adapt to my 52 Ford F3.According to the numbers---13-52-216 its from a 93 GM S truck,it has 26 splines,but when I check all the parts places looking for a clutch disc,they all have 14 splines.Any help would be appreciated.Johnny-Milwaukee

All late model GM T5s using the Ford pattern case were 26 splines. Early model GM V8s were 26 splines, while the 4 and 6 cylinders were not..

I don't understand why the parts places you are checking don't know about 26 splines since they were used on T5s for over 10 years. If that is an indicator of their competence, then I would be leery of buying any of their parts.

Thanks for the replies,but still confused.The T5 charts I looked at put my tranny from a 93 GM S truck,but I'm not sure they came with a V8.

They didn't come w/a V8. Unless you know the tranny you have is unmolested, it may have had a 26 spline input installed.

Do you know the ratios? Some boxes had a ~4:1 low gear.

The S10 tailhousing is the important part for your application. No idea what ratios are in that box by now. You can try locking the trans in 1st gear and turning it by hand; see how many turns it takes to get 1 turn of the output (mainshaft). Most V8 ratios have a 2.95 1st gear; so consider that 3:1.
